Gas Lift Design, Operations & Troubleshooting
Course Description
This five full-day course is designed to provide your valuable attendees with a comprehensive knowledge about Gas Lift design, operation, optimization, and troubleshooting in the oilfield. The course will address. key concepts involved in the application of gas lift methods and a practical understanding of their operation and optimization. Well modelling software will be provided into the course to cope with the industry trends and leverage company performance levels. The course starts by presenting a review of gas lift equipment, valve operation and the unloading process. Discussion is carried out on installation, commissioning, operation monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Recent innovations in gas lift technology will also be presented and discussed. After attending this course, participants will be able to identify, diagnose, analyze, and solve gas lift problems ensuring the efficient operation of gas lift systems and maximizing production. Well modelling software will be used to illustrate design and troubleshooting applications while network modelling software will illustrate gas lift gas allocation and field wide optimization techniques Well entries to replace gas lift valves are relatively cheap compared to other forms of artificial lift. The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the gas lift system, design and operation.
