The course is fully classroom-based, focusing on theory, discussion, and conceptual understanding without hands-on activities.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the role of data collection in research and decision-making
  • Differentiate between qualitative and quantitative data collection methods
  • Identify appropriate data sources for different objectives
  • Understand survey design, interviews, and observational techniques (conceptually)
  • Evaluate data quality, reliability, and validity
  • Recognize ethical considerations in data collection
  • Understand challenges and limitations in collecting data
