Course Description

Inbound Logistics is a critical function within the supply chain that focuses on the

planning, coordination, movement, and storage of materials and information from

suppliers to production sites or warehouses. In industrial and mining environments,

effective inbound logistics ensures uninterrupted operations, optimized costs,

regulatory compliance, and safe handling of materials.

 

This course provides participants with a practical understanding of inbound logistics

processes, supplier coordination, transportation, customs, receiving, warehousing,

and inventory management. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications,

operational challenges, and best practices relevant to large-scale and complex

operations.

 

Inbound Logistics focuses on the planning, coordination, and control of the

movement, storage, and handling of materials and information from suppliers to

production or distribution centers.

 

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding

of how organizations manage it  incoming goods efficiently to support

smooth operations, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

 

By the end of this training course, participants should be able to  explore key concepts such as supplier management, transportation planning, inventory control,
