Your Growth, Our Mission
This is a program about the technology and markets affecting fiber to the home (FTTH) or premises. The FTTx program is not intended to be a complete fiber optic training program. It is intended as a module in a comprehensive fiber optic training program that includes the basics of fiber optics, installation, termination, splicing and testing.
This comprehensive learning track is aimed at field technicians, installers, designers, and engineers who are new to fiber or new to broadband FTTx.
This course should be able to understand the basics of FTTx and have an appreciation for the requirements for design and installation. The course will give both the novice and the experienced participant a solid grasp of the principles and practical implementation of fiber optic cabling for industrial applications.
Those who design, install, test, or maintain fiber networks in Telecom, Oil & Gas, Constructions & Petrochemical sectors as per the following concerned departments:
- IT Dept.
- Telecommunication Dept.
- Projects Dept.
- Engineering Dept.
- Control & Electrical Dept.
Prerequisite:
Fiber Foundations is required or completing the prerequisite Fiber Optic Fundamental Technology course
This comprehensive 5-day course in fiber optics is designed for those aspiring to become Fiber Optic Technicians. The training integrates 3-days theoretical knowledge & 2-days hands-on activities. Trainees are able to use and practice with field equipment in class through hands on skills labs.
