Course Description
The Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) is a critical component in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated industries. It combines control and safety systems into a unified framework to manage industrial processes while safeguarding personnel, assets, and the environment. ICSS is commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and others that require robust and integrated solutions to address both process control and safety. The "Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) in Automated Industries" training program is designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, architecture, and operation of ICSS. Participants will explore the integration of DCS (Distributed Control Systems), ESD (Emergency Shutdown Systems), F&G (Fire & Gas) systems, and SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) to optimize operational efficiency and ensure a high level of safety. This training program will equip attendees with the knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively design, implement, operate, and maintain ICSS in complex, automated industrial environments. It will also highlight the importance of system integration, redundancy, fail-safes, and data communication in achieving seamless control and safety management.

  • Architecture of the Fire & Gas Detection System
  • Benefit of the HMI applications

 

Module Three:

  • Initiation about control data transmission
  • Initiation about safety data transmission
  • Initiation about PLC architecture and internal data transmission

Module Four

  • Control Room type of arrangement
  • Interface Room type of arrangement
  • Cable schedule and loop diagrams
  • Termination and marshalling cabinets

 

 

Module Five:

  • Operator’s workstations OWS
  • Engineering workstation EWS
  • Understand the cause-and-effect diagrams
  • Examples about P&IDs linked to the ICSS systems

 

BTS attendance certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 80% of the total course duration.
