Course Description
The Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) is a critical component in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of automated industries. It combines control and safety systems into a unified framework to manage industrial processes while safeguarding personnel, assets, and the environment. ICSS is commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, power generation, and others that require robust and integrated solutions to address both process control and safety.
The "Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) in Automated Industries" training program is designed to provide professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, architecture, and operation of ICSS. Participants will explore the integration of DCS (Distributed Control Systems), ESD (Emergency Shutdown Systems), F&G (Fire & Gas) systems, and SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) to optimize operational efficiency and ensure a high level of safety.
This training program will equip attendees with the knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively design, implement, operate, and maintain ICSS in complex, automated industrial environments. It will also highlight the importance of system integration, redundancy, fail-safes, and data communication in achieving seamless control and safety management.

After completing the ICSS course, the candidates will be able to understand the role of the different control and safety systems i.e. DCS, ESD and Fire & Gas. The attendees will be able to understand the Cause & Effect Diagrams and the P&IDs, and how to differentiate between the instrumentation symbols.

Engineers, Operators and Technicians working in the petrochemical, oil, and gas process and other automated industries with a need to understand the processing of final product automation steps.
