Course Description
This practical and highly interactive course includes real-life case studies and exercises where participants will be engaged in a series of interactive small groups and class workshops. This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Advanced Marine/Pipeline Terminals Management, Operation and Safety with International Standard. It covers the background, significance and types of marine pipeline terminals; the international standards and regulatory frameworks; the structure and components of marine terminals and pipelines; the procedures and checklist of terminal/pipeline operation; the maintenance and inspection of terminal equipment and pipelines; the pipeline pressure management, flow rate control and terminal logistics; and the safety measures during operations, quick response and remedial actions during emergency procedures. During this interactive course, participants will learn the role and responsibilities of terminal/pipeline managers; the communication and coordination, management of terminal and pipeline services; the risks in terminal/pipeline operations, safety standards and compliance; the safety management systems, accident prevention strategies, safety audits, emergency response, and crisis management; the environmental impact of terminal/pipeline operations, effluent management, and pollution control; and the energy efficiency, carbon footprint reduction and the sustainable practices in terminal pipeline operations.

This course provides an overview of all significant aspects and considerations advanced marine/pipeline terminals management, operation and safety with international standard for terminal managers, operations managers, safety managers, officers, maintenance personnels, engineers, environmental compliance officers and security personnel.
