Well/Field Surveillance Templates (Advanced OFM Course)
Course Description
This course will cover Production Surveillance (for both well and Field Scales) and Production Forecasting & Management. These two topics are major ones to manage and improve oil/gas field performance throughout the entire life cycle. Course Content involves the required technical background; with practical workshop to apply the presented techniques. Schlumberger Oil Field Manager (OFM) Software is selected to be used during the workshop; as the standard solution for production Surveillance, Analysis and Forecasting. OFM acts as a single focal point of analysis for reservoir and production engineers to collaborate and manage more wells in less time. It allows engineer to view, relate, and analyze reservoir and production data with comprehensive workflow tools such as bubble maps, diagnostic plots, and decline curve analysis. OFM provides fast filtering capabilities which improved field performance by promptly identifying the well(s) that offer an opportunity to increase production.

Anyone interested in gaining a general understanding of OFM.  It will greatly benefit:

  • Project Managers
  • Production Operators
  • Field Production Personnel / Supervisors / Superintendents
  • Production Engineers
  • Asset Managers
  • Asset Support Engineers
  • Reservoir Engineers
  • Process Engineers
  • Planning Engineers
  • Production Accountants
