Module Two: Regulations and Compliance for HAZMAT Transportation
· Overview of the Hazardous Materials Transportation Act (HMTA).
· Detailed review of DOT regulations: Title 49 CFR.
· UN/DOT classification system and labeling requirements.
· Packaging, Labelling and Containerization Standards for petroleum products.
· Documentation, Recordkeeping and Reporting obligations for HAZMAT activities.
Module Three: Safe Handling and Storage of Petroleum Products
· Best practices for the safe handling of hazardous materials.
· Procedures for loading and unloading petroleum products.
· Containment and spill prevention measures.
· Importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Module Four: Emergency Response and Spill Management

· Roles and responsibilities of responders during a HAZMAT incident.
· Spill containment and recovery techniques for petroleum products.
· Notification and reporting procedures for spills (Coordination with emergency services).

BTS Consultant Certificate will be issued to all attendees completing minimum of 75% of the total tuition hours of the workshop.
